Just one way to make a shiny glass ball in Photoshop with no 3D rendering. The white shine can be adjusted further with layer opacity. Had this laying around and just wanted to share it with you.

Dark Side Of The Moon Cover in Photoshop
In my free time, I decided to try to re-create the cover from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon in Photoshop 7. That's the result. (PS: I've never did it before). Hope ya enjoy :)
